Occupations:

Queen Evangeline leads the leading charity organisation of the Griffon Kingdom. Angels Guidance is a charity organisation with the slogan “Changing Lives” and is responsible for a number of charity works around the Kingdom. It includes Orphanages, Soup kitchens and Therapy establishments for the depressed. It also hosts a number of events including Community runs / flights, small short time medical set ups (with the help of Cytes's Changeling's on occasion), Soup Patrols, Funny Hat days and even Plant a tree day as well as Clean up the Kingdom days for the environment (both new additions under Evangeline's leadership). Generally speaking they are the best of the best in terms of mental problems.

Unique Abilities:

A stronger immunity to less favoured emotions like hate. Similar to the hive of Lust Charity Changeling's can perform mental assessments of their target (Like the preferred sexual position for Ovi) which helps assess mental disorders easily and efficiently.

 

Charity Changeling’s are born with Halo’s above their heads (both males and females). When activated all emotions felt by the Charity Changeling are transmitted to others in the immediate area. This is great for getting others in a similar mood to the Charity changeling… Although Drunken Charity Changelings have accidentally made others drunk by accidentally activating their halo around others whilst drunk.

Naming System:

Changelings of the Charity Hive use the personality quiz to determine their names rather than the more structured Cytes naming system. This is to breathe more life into a hive that really should use a more personalised naming system than numbers and letters.

 

So the personality quiz works off of the four attributes Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling and Judging or I,N,F,G for short (that is my personality by the way).

 

Introverted for the case above must be the Changelings first or last letter of their name (None of the other three are allowed to take the position of first or last). After their general name the last three letters go after it so names can be Gilda FNI, Nera IGF or Teri NFG. A name like Ferran NGI would not be accepted as F and N are being used for the first and last letters and they are both part of the core naming system. Baby Changelings can be named whatever their parents want but children names are not allowed to use any of the four letters listed above in any position of the name.

 

This is because they are not old enough yet to take the personality quiz, once they are they are given their true names.

Hive Structure:

The Main base of operations is far from the capital. This was a choice made by Evangeline's grandmother because the capital was home to the wealthy Griffon's who in general had no time for peasants. She worked out that living far away from the capital meant that they could grab more of the average Griffon who would be more willing to spend their money. The outskirts are also the home to more less well off Changeling's meaning that their work would be more appreciated here.

 

The hive itself is designed with a heavenly atmosphere in mind with clouds and golden decorations scattered around. However sections of the hive are suffering from age as it was Evangeline’s mother who managed to acquire the funds to modernise the hive to such an extent and Eve has not been money conscious enough to properly upkeep the hive.

(Positive nickname = Eve, Negative nickname = Evaling)

 

Name Meaning – Other than the obvious meaning being the coming of night and end of the day Eve is also Hebrew for life.

 

Approximate Age – 550

 

Summary - Queen Evangeline is somewhat similar to Queen Cytes. They are both hard workers and heads of a business which is based on helping their food source survive. Unlike Cytes though Queen Evangeline is a lot more susceptible to emotion. Evangeline herself is a bit more of a common Changeling queen with no sort of abandoning of the hive or what could be deemed as traitorous actions. While she certainly is not the wisest or strongest of the queens she does her role for the Changeling and Griffon community to the best of her abilities like any sound queen should.

 

She has multiple names inclusive of Evangeline (her true name used for professionalism), Eve (used amongst friends) Evangeling or Evaling (common chit-chat name created as an insult by Pupa) and Engel (her Griffon title). All names have references to Angels.

 

She loves Griffon's and absolutely adores her own Changeling's. She would do anything to keep her little Changeling's alive and well. This is a common characteristic for Charity Queens due to their slightly unusual method of upbringing.

Rise to Leadership:

Charity queens are brought up in a very interesting way. Upon birth the Charity Princess is given off to a Griffon family. In this family the Princess is brought up to believe that she is an ordinary Griffon, similar to Silver's case in Converted. However during her life her mother (the current queen) will send elite members of the Charity hive to secretly give the Princess gifts or help her out if she ever gets in trouble. The goal is that over the Princesses young life she will see Changeling's as like her own personal guardians, little Angels almost. These Changeling's always keep their acts secretive so that only the Princess will notice them and even then the Changeling's never talk to the Princess only making their presence known for very short moments.

 

When the young Princess is old enough and loves the presence of Changeling's in her life (even if she only knows them as little bug eyed angels) the secret that she is a Changeling princess is revealed. Ultimately the plan is to make such an announcement a dream come true for the Princess who thought she was nothing more than an ordinary Griffon. It makes her feel like a queen of little angels but also allows her to love the Griffon's (the Changeling's food source) seeing as she thought she was one during her young life

Public Relations: 

The Medical and Charity hives are both friends with each other seeing as how they compliment each other in the medical field.

 

The Charity Hive are not so friendly towards the Adoration hive. This mainly stems from the way both hives treat their food source the Griffon's The Charity hive care for the Griffon's and protect them in any way they can. The Adoration hive see them as no more than a food source. They have no care over the Griffon's and have stated that they only defend the Griffon's because that is here their home is.

 

The Warrior hive also have a somewhat negative opinion of the hive. This is because of their connection with the hive of Adoration. This connection means that the Warrior hive are persuaded by the Adoration hive to look upon them poorly.

 

In general this disconnection between the Charity hive and militaristic hives is seen as a massive downfall. The Charity hive is great at fixing mental problems and the fact that the military hives dislike them could cause problems on the battlefield.

Historical Facts:

The Charity hive used to receive their emotional energy by being beggars on the street or by being brought in by loving families. Obviously this solution was not a very efficient one.
